Hi Everybody -
Well, I think I finally have all the "bugs" out of my new printer and my email fixed again, so will try for the next newsletter. I have enjoyed hearing from those who have gone to their breed specialties and have done well this fall. It is always fun to hear about other dogs in your particular breed, and share stories. GT Kennel Club Agility trial, Sept 28, 29 & 30 I am very proud of the students from the training center and friends who showed at the agility trial in Traverse City. Many of you came home with ribbons and great memories. For some of you, this was your first show, and I hope you and your dog made it a happy experience. Many of you who still are in the beginning stages of learning agility, did come and watch, too. Thanks to the GT Kennel Club for offering an agility trial where we didn't have to travel this time! Teacup Agility Trial, November 10 & 11 We are in the planning stages for our last teacup trial for 2007. Donni Breaden, from Illinois, will be our judge again. She & her husband were here in August, 2006 for judging. We decided to ask her back again, and she has a fun weekend planned for us. The premium is ready, and look for it on the top of the Teapcup Agility page. Copies are also available at the training center. We will be having a potluck again, and looking for volunteers to help. Check your calendar on the dates. Teacup Agility Nationals Petit Prix, in Illinois, this past weekend We are waiting to hear from our 3 attendees who traveled this past weekend to Illinois as representatives for Michigan - Mary Belanger with Shorty & Jasmine (husband Neal was the driver), Rose Damore with Naomi, and Coleene Davidson with Tootsie. I am sure they had a fine time, and will have lots of stories to tell about their adventures. Can you imagine - 4 adults and 4 dogs all in one van? Plus all the dog stuff and luggage? UKC Agility trial, Escanaba, October 27 & 28 Speaking of representation, we will be having at least 6 attendees traveling to Escanaba to represent UKC agility from the training center. Tina Black with Shadow, Sally Cole with Annie & Ranger, Elsa Gambert with Onnie, Beckie Gauld with Comet and Chase, Quincie Spangler with Cavu & myself with Peetie. If you see any of these people, wish them well and safe travelling across the bridge. NEW! Beginning Agility class starting FRIDAY, November 2nd at 11 AM There have been some people asking for a daytime beginning agility class. Friday was the best day. If you are interested in being in this class, please let me know as soon as possible as class size will be limited.Class will be for 5 weeks for $65. NEW!
