Hi Everybody -
Survive the holidays? Ready to get back to a "normal" routine (whatever that is!) We have lots packed into 2007 which will offer you lots of choices of what you would like to do with your dog. We have tried to meet everyone's needs, but just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day!

Classes resume on Wednesday, January 3rd with Teacup day. I will be out of town Thursday, Jan 4th thru Sunday, Jan. 7th. There WILL be Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday classes this week (Week of January 1).

Handling Class on Tuesdays - to continue
We started this class in December on a few Tuesday nights & those who were able to attend seemed to like it. So, we will continue on Tuesdays, starting January 9th, at 6:15 PM. Cost is $5 per night.

Teacup Agility practice - Friday nights ? Try it out on January 12th NEW!
Several have asked to have teacup practice on an additional night - some can't come on Wednesday nights. So we are going to try Friday, January 12th from 6 PM to 7 PM as open floor. Time can be purchased by buying a punch card for 5 - 1 hr spots for $50, or $15 per hr.

Beginning Obedience class starts Tuesday, Janury 9th
This is a reminder to get your money and registration paper in for this class. We will take the first 10 dogs to sign up. If you haven't mailed it in, please do so!

2006 Annual Awards Report
We are going to do this again this year - Anyone who has a dog(s) that has accomplished a title in 2006 only, should send the following information to Lu Capra lcapra@earthlink.net the following information per dog: Dog's name, your name, & titles (please spell titles out - we don't always know what the letters mean & for everyone reading the newsletter they will better understand) This can be in conformation, agility, rally , obedience, best of breed, conformation titles, etc. and they can be from any dog affiliated association (ukc, akc, cpe, etc.) Cut off for info to Lu is January 15th. She has graciously agreed to tabulate all the info again, and we will email to everyone the results. It will also be listed on the website. This should be an awesome newsletter! Send your brags!

2007 Agility League
Go, ready, set? No, set, go, ready? Anyhow, it's that time of year again! Let's have some fun while learning & exercising our dog! League play will be for 8 weeks - starting the week of Monday, January 15th and ending Saturday, March 10th. Each "team" will consist of 3 - dog/handlers. You must come up with a name for your team (this is the fun part) and the top 2 scores out of the 3 -dog/handlers will place the team for that particular week.. We will also have various divisions again for individual dog/handler awards. These are kept secret until the awards banquet. Confused? Don't worry - it's fun for you and your dog, and the winter goes by fast! Cost is still $15 per handler/dog for all 8 weeks. Call your teammates & get their permission to join your team - league times are listed below (there are 4 different times during the week you can come & play the game) as to when you can come and play. If you have any questions, email me. If you aren't on a team and need help finding a team, let me know & I will match you up with others.
