Grand Traverse Kennel Club Conformation, Rally & Obedience Show
June 15, 16 & 17
The show will be on Father's Day weekend this year. Rally will be held on Friday, June 15th. Conformation & obedience will be on Saturday & Sunday. Pre-novice & veterans classes will be on Saturday only
.
Rally Novice Obedience
People have suggested that they would like to see a Rally class offered again. Since the GT Kennel Club will be offering Rally on Friday this year at their show, we would like to offer Rally classes in May so that you can try it & see how much fun it is for you and your dog, and enter the show. Entries will close somewhere around Memorial weekend. We will be offering Advanced Rally courses in June, so you can brush up on your signs before the show. Excellent Rally will be offered as needed. Let us know if Tuesday nights or Thursday nights work for rally classes.

6 PM on Tuesdays - what would you like to see offered ?
We are open to suggestions as to what you would like to see offered in this time slot.

Border Collie/Black lab mix puppy needs home
12 week old Border Collie / Black Lab mix found wandering in the road on US 131. According to the animal shelter in Kalkaska, this is the 3rd puppy found matching this description. He is very friendly, active and brave; will sleep all night in a crate; has adjusted to a collar and leash and walks nicely with encouragement. We are still working on potty training which is obviously a new "skill" for him. He loves to play with our other dogs and they are teaching him about bite inhibition ( those baby teeth are so sharp.) He has received his first puppy shot and is being treated for intestinal parasites.
This puppy is available to an approved home. References required. Please call Casey at (231) 587-5101.
