Higher Dog Walk
I am still waiting for the higher dog walk to get done. It is coming from down around the Lansing area. If anybody is going to be down that way the end of March with their truck, and would be willing to haul it up here, please let me know. It would save me a trip down.
THANKS!
Season Pass
Again, I will be offering the season pass for April, May, & June for $150. This has worked very well for the last 3 months. You have unlimited floor time in the building but it must be listed on the main calendar in the dog barn. You can call me to see what time slots are available and I can put it on the calendar for you. This will also include used of the outdoor arena (which will be available starting in June).
2008 Winter Agility League
The league is history now, having completed our 5th year of winter agility league. We had over 50 people who played in the league this year - and had over 50 people who attended the potluck and awards. The food was just great! And we had many people who participated in having fun at the awards! Sure hope the squeakers were still working when you got home with the dog toys! I did find an orange ladle after everything was cleaned up. Let me know who it belongs to, and I will see you get it back.
"Canine Contacts" 2008 Dog Expo
Saturday, June 28th
The event will be at the same location as last year - The Kaliseum in Kalkaska. We are forming committees and could use your help. Here are the various areas so far:
Signs & flyer - Mandy Palmer
Parade of Breeds - Jill Gwillim
Set-up (Friday) - John Peters, Carrie Chase
Still looking for someone to help with vendors & publicity committees. Also I am waiting for some people to get back to me on demos. If you have any other ideas or suggestions, let me know. We are starting to advertise already downstate. If you know of any free publications we can advertise in, that would be helpful.

Advanced Obedience Classes
Starting in April
Lu Capra will be teaching starting on Tuesday, April 1st. It will be from 2:30-3:30 on Tues. afternoons and will be geared to more advanced exercises than Novice. It will include Open and Utility exercises, but just so you know, she plans on spending quite a bit of time on parts of exercises with lots of proofing rather than on lots of run-throughs. For exampe, she will begin by focusing on attention in many different situations and when teams are doing many different exercises including those from Open and Utility (if you are working on those). But you can also use the proofing for attention if you are working on perfecting your Novice routines as well. Let Jane know if you are interested.
